TOTOH Campout 2026
A LIGHTWEIGHT and SACRED GATHERING
A co-created, experimental, open-hearted gathering of sacred community.
As part of the TOTOH community, you're invited! Let's come together to celebrate and deepen together. Come co-create with us. ♡
Retreat overview.
What: A lighthearted and sacred gathering of the whole tribe. For the first time, we’re hosting a campout away from TOTOH HQ! A weekend retreat in the Nantahala Forest of NC. Inviting all the wide spread TOTOH community to come together to celebrate and deepen together.
Why: To synchronize and harmonize our efforts to live the shift into the more beautiful world our hearts know is possible. To connect our paths more deeply. To enjoy nature and each other. (Secondarily a fundraiser for TOTOH.)
When: Thursday, August 27th, 2026 through Sunday, August 30th. We’re aiming for an immersive container and we ask, if possible, for minimal drop-ins or drop-outs during the window of Friday evening through 12pm Sunday.
Where: Nestled in the heart of the Nantahala National Forest at Appletree Group Campground, near the banks of the Nantahala River, Western North Carolina, Southern Appalachia, North America, Earth, Sol System, Milky Way Galaxy, the infinite creation of the One Infinite Creator. 😉
Who: Members of the broader TOTOH community and the TOTOH Collective. (We do ask that all participants join the Collective, though there is no cost to do so.)

Join us for this sweet campout! Your ticket admission covers tent camping, lunches, and snacks.
So, bring your own tent and bedding.
Everyone will also have access to our private bathrooms and showers associated with our campsite, to be shared with other TOTOH Campout participants.
-
Our campsite has some sweet shade and respite from the sun or possible rain. That said, this is a campout and we'll be outdoors in the incredible, luscious gift of the Nantahala Forest for this event.
There is a well loved let-in spot for the Nantahala River just down the road from our site. (We have not checked it out…)
In circles around the fire, taking hikes and outings, in the lush meadow of our campsite, maybe even swimming and tubing in the sweet Nantahala River...
-
We're planning for our retreat to be a healthy mix of structured open space offerings and unstructured socializing and nature time.
Consider: What might you like to experience? And what could you source and contribute to make that a reality? If you have a teaching, practice, or activity that you'd like to share with the tribe, this could be a great opportunity to bring it!
Our tentative plan is: our mornings together begin with Marketplace (group coordination of our offerings) at 9am each morning. Then we have two 90-minute open space sessions before 1pm lunch.
The rest of the day is available to be programmed as we all see fit and have interest or excitement.
-
Our primary purpose for this retreat is enhancing our individual and collective paths together through an immersive community experience. To practice being a 'we'. To support the intrepid seekers that we all are in continuing to embody the truth of cosmic unity.
And a powerful means of doing that is to deepen into our connections along that path.
Oh, to be a radiant force of Love in this time on the planet! We stand for positive evolution TOGETHER, yo!
-
Each evening is available to gather around the campfire for fellowship and song under the stars.
We'll have the opportunity to join our voices in collective celebration of sharing the path together, expressing sacred witness to the Creator through devotional songs, celebratory songs, medicine songs, whatever music moves through.
Bringing instruments to TOTOH Campout is highly encouraged! Drums, guitars, handpans, shakers, ... whatchagot?
-
At this point, we’re planning to provide a morning coffee and tea station, plus salad bar lunches and snacks that will consider dietary restrictions. As we get closer to the campout dates, we’ll all be in touch and coordinate our shared meals more specifically.
-
All participants will be invited to join a group chat (on the Signal app) to help us coordinate some of the finer points beforehand.
-
This gathering also supports TOTOH as a fundraiser.
Our team offers our work as a labor of love, and we’re exploring what it means to sustain our mission over time. If you feel called to contribute, your support is deeply appreciated.
